What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Felton Incorporated?
Job description:
- Locate products in the warehouse using our ERP system
- Retrieve materials according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy following a FIFO system and lot numbers
- Build pallets with orders and deliver them to the machines
- Perform RF scan gun transactions of picked orders
- Provide accurate counts for cycle counting
- Place and organize material on pallets or shelves for distribution
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the supervisor/department manager
- Perform all standard warehouse operating procedures
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards
- Other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications:
· Good record keeping skills.
· Great attention to detail
· Familiar with inventory methods and practices
· Ability to lift 50 lbs
· Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
. Ability to operate a forklift (or become certified), pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment
· Requires the ability to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal
· Well organized
· Understand complicated written and verbal instructions
· Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position
· Diligent and punctual
· Good physical strength and stamina
· Basic knowledge with computer

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
