Pay:
$17.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule:
- full time available: 30 hours per week
- Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 8-5 , Friday 7-1
- possibility to add another day
- Day shifts only
- No weekends
Job Summary
Felt Family Dentistry is hiring a dependable and friendly Dental Assistant to join our amazing team! We’re looking for someone who is team-oriented, detail-focused, and passionate about providing excellent care. This full-time position offers a supportive, fun work environment with room to grow your clinical skills and be part of a patient-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentist chairside during procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and develop digital X-rays
- Chart procedures and treatment notes accurately
- Educate patients on post-op care and oral hygiene
- Take impressions and assist with lab cases
- Help maintain a calm, friendly, and professional atmosphere
- Support patient scheduling and follow-up coordination as needed
Qualifications
- 1 year of dental assisting experience (preferred)
- Radiology certification
- Graduation from a dental assisting program (preferred)
- Familiarity with Dentrix software (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team-focused, professional, and adaptable
