As a Fellowship Friends Preschool Teacher, your dedication to the success of our students will ensure we deliver on our mission of being the best and most trusted early childhood education center in Trophy Club. Our classrooms have a low teacher/student ratio with 2 teachers in each classroom and we all take responsibility for ensuring a healthy learning environment for children. Our teachers are very dedicated and work hard to have a fun and drama-free workplace.
- Position starts in August and ends in May with NISD calendar. Part-time 28 to 35 hours per week

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education. Bachelors preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Pass Criminal Background Screening.
- Minimum of 3 year of experience in a licensed preschool.
- A commitment to Jesus Christ and to the love of His people
- The ability to communicate effectively.
- Preference will be given to those who have had experience working in an early childhood education setting and/or have an educational degree.
Everyday life as a Preschool Teacher:
- Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
- Help children learn about language, literacy, math, science, life skills, and more.
- Work with your co-teacher to become familiar with and implement the lesson plans from the curriculum.
- Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
- Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
- Adapt program activities to meet the individual needs of the children.
- Provide a balance between teacher directed and child directed activities.
- Support social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
- Establish positive and productive relationships with our families.
- Maintain a commitment to professionalism by promoting God’s Love and educational objectives.
- They must be comfortable working together as a team with others on staff.
- Not only will teachers be responsible for helping the children grow intellectually, they must also be able to help the children grow socially and emotionally as well. As we are a Christian Preschool, we are also looking for someone who is comfortable sharing God's Word with younger children.
- Follow NWISD schedule, work hours are 8 A.M. to 3 P.M.
