Position Summary:The Facilities Supervisor position provides support for daily church activities by overseeing the work of Facilities Technicians, participating daily in the hands-on completion of tasks related to cleaning facilities (general housekeeping), event set up of furniture and related equipment, and small projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:• Facility cleaning – general building areas, worship areas, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms• Event set up – moving tables and chairs in and out of event spaces before and after events• Print and read event calendars in order to perform set up• Empty outdoor trash cans, pick up litter on grounds and parking lots• Small projects and various tasks as assigned• Must report for work as scheduled, and clock in and out on time• Follow daily instruction from the Facilities Manager, and be willing and able to learn new tasks quickly• Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Education and Experience:• High school diploma or equivalentKnowledge and Skills:• Dependability is a must – employees must report for work as scheduled, and clock in and out on time• Must be able to follow daily instruction from the Facilities Manager• Willing and able to learn new tasks quickly• A valid Arkansas driver's license, and ability to pass a driving record check in order to drive church vehiclesSpiritual Requirements:• Committed to Fellowship Bible Church’s mission, values, and beliefs• Handle confidential information in a Christ like and professional manner• Signed acknowledgement of Fellowship Bible Church’s “Confession of Faith” form• Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Bible Church’s Employee Manual, Position Papers, and Fellowship Distinctives• Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the “Code of Conduct”Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
