Responsibilities
- Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Handle probate and estate administration matters from opening through closing
- Advise clients regarding estate, trust, and inheritance issues
- Prepare and review fiduciary accountings and related filings
- Communicate regularly with clients, beneficiaries, financial advisors, and courts
- Conduct legal research and remain current on changes in estate and probate law
- Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files
- Provide compassionate and professional client service during sensitive matters
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in Pennsylvania
- 3-5 years of estate planning and estate administration experience preferred
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with trusts, probate proceedings, and fiduciary matters
