We are currently seeking a Press Brake Assembler to join our Freehold, NJ team. This role will be responsible for the safe operation of the press brake machine involved in metal fabrication. This role is a long-term opportunity in a very busy facility.
Responsibilities:
- Check parts against print using proper QC measuring equipment.
- Load/unload machines and may check basic cross-reference information to assure correct part is being processed.
- Assure that basic quality checks are performed at specific intervals on machine parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on all machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare and run complex setups and form operations. This includes custom punch modification used in combination with other tooling.
- Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.
- Read prints, set up and run various metal fabrication equipment.
- Work responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies.
- Perform other related duties as required by Supervisor/Fabrication Manager
Job Qualifications:
- 2 years of manufacturing work experience.
- 1 years of press brake machinery experience. (preference on Trumpf press brake).
- Must be able to read blueprints and technical documents.
- Must be able to check and measure parts according to technical document specification. Use of measurement tools, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Familiar with folding machines.
Work Shift (M-Th 7-4:30pm, Fri 7-11am)
Pay Rate $19-$20 hourly
