Role Description The Adjunct Professor of Marketing Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility will teach an evening graduate course on Wednesdays, 6:55 PM to 9:45 PM, focused on sustainable marketing practices, ethical decision-making, and corporate social responsibility in business. This full-time, on-site role is based in Montclair, NJ, and involves preparing and delivering lectures, facilitating classroom discussions, designing assignments and assessments, and providing timely feedback to learners. The professor will incorporate current research, case studies, and experiential learning activities into course design to connect theory with practice. Responsibilities also include maintaining course materials on the university’s learning management systems.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Marketing Management and Marketing, including experience applying ethical and sustainable strategies in diverse organizational contexts.
- Proficiency in academic and applied Research relevant to marketing, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.
- Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Sustainability, or a closely related field; a doctoral degree is preferred.
- Prior higher education teaching experience or equivalent instructional experience, with effective classroom and instructional design skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage a diverse student body using inclusive teaching practices.
- Candidate will have to learn to use learning management systems and educational technology to support in-person instruction.
- Evidence of ongoing professional or scholarly activity in marketing, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility is highly beneficial.
