Job Overview
We are looking for someone with retail experience to help at the front counter. The job is customer-centric and requires some thinking as you go.
Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized store, as well as stocking shelves and merchandise displays
- Assist in inventory management tasks such as organizing products and participating in stock counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Handle retail math calculations for transactions, refunds, or discounts with accuracy and confidence while managing cash registers efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or other similar settings is a must; we also value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within our team
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures is beneficial
- Strong communication skills, including clear phone etiquette and customer interaction abilities, are essential
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and basic math skills will help you succeed in this role
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week
