Responsibilities
- Assist with auto body repairs, including sanding, masking, and prepping vehicles for painting or finishing
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform minor repairs and assembly work
- Help with vehicle maintenance tasks such as detailing, and prep
- Prepare vehicles for repair by disassembling damaged parts and inspecting for additional issues
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely to move parts or vehicles as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the shop
Skills
- Previous dealership or auto body shop experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and auto restoration processes
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and auto body equipment such as airless paint sprayers
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent customer service skills to support positive interactions with clients and team members
