PART-TIME ASSISTANT SOFTBALL COACH

Felician University is presently seeking an energetic and goal-oriented Assistant Softball Coach to support all aspects of a NCAA national Collegiate softball program. Reporting to the Head Softball Coach, the Assistant Coach provides instruction in the development of physical skills and techinques required for participation in the sport, rules, reguaaltions an equipment needs associated witht the sport and leadership skills. S/her supports the Head Coach is assessing player skills, monitoring academic progress of the students, identifying equipment needs and ensuring adherence toNCAA Division II and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference rules and regualtions.

Position Type: 

Part-Time, 25 hours/week, Exempt

 Required Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree required; may be waived with significant coaching experience 

 Qualifications: 

1 years' collegiate coaching experience; demonstarted knowledge of NCAA Division II and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference rules and regulations; proven ability to engage effectively with a diverse consitutnece of students, assistance coacahes and colleagies; well-developed written and verbal communications skills; demonstarted ability to conduct all interactions (on the field an off) in a respectful and professional manner; ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and missio of the University.
