About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned sales professional with construction experience to join our growing residential team. This is not your average sales job—you’ll be in the field, working hands-on, diagnosing issues, offering solutions, and guiding homeowners through critical chimney and fireplace repairs.
You’ll meet with pre-qualified leads, inspect homes, present estimates, and close deals with confidence. We’ll train you on our systems and chimney/fireplace services so you can deliver results and build a six-figure income.
What You’ll Do
- Learn our chimney, venting, and hearth service offerings inside and out.
- Attend in-home customer appointments and assist with on-site inspections, estimates, and solution planning.
- Take inbound leads, referrals, and self-generated contacts from inquiry to closed sale.
- Walk homeowners through options, pricing, and financing—then prepare clear, confident contracts.
- Accurately log all customer interactions and job details in our CRM system.
- Follow up post-service to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships.
- Periodically meet clients in our Cheektowaga showroom to present hearth product options.
- Hit (and exceed) weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets with a competitive mindset.
What You Bring
- 5 years of construction or in-home sales experience (home services preferred).
- Proven success managing a full sales cycle from lead to close.
- Ability to explain technical details in simple terms and gain homeowner trust.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, getting hands-on when needed.
- Organized, coachable, and motivated by performance-based pay.
