Elder Law / Estate Planning Paralegal
For over 45 years, Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, P.C. has provided exceptional legal services to clients throughout New York. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Elder Law / Estate Planning Paralegal to join our expanding team.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional with substantial experience drafting sophisticated trust planning and handling extensive client contact.
Responsibilities
- Draft:
- Irrevocable Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts (MAPTs)
- Revocable Living Trusts
- Supplemental Needs Trusts (SNTs)
- Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, and Living Wills
- Communicate directly with clients regarding estate planning matters
- Assist attorneys with document preparation and case/client management including scheduling appointments
Qualifications
- 5 years of elder law and estate planning experience
- Strong experience drafting MAPTs, revocable trusts, and SNTs
- Excellent written, verbal, and client service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HotDocs
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
