Assistant Business Development Manager: Vitamin Team
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supports Vitamin Team business objectives to drive company and category sales
· Develop in-depth understanding and become a category expert in VMS
· Support new item meetings, sales materials, product samples and POG development
· Pro-actively assist vendors and team in key areas of the VMS category
· Coordinate and develop presentations for Vitamin suppliers
· Analyze business performance data and competitive landscape to keep Vitamin Team informed of trends and opportunities that impact ability to meet annual goals
· Use key insights to drive brand activity, new products, strategies, and thought leadership
· Become a Vitamins category expert, identifying trends and translating them into strategies to drive growth

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or a related field
- 1-2 years in Business Development Management/Marketing/Sales ideally in the Kroger network
- Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), preferably at or servicing Kroger Corporate
