What you’ll do
Our ideal candidate is not only experienced in civil engineering but also possesses a preference for tackling challenges in transportation, private development, stormwater or hydraulic modeling. You’ll make crucial decisions independently, find innovative solutions and plan and coordinate projects. As a Project Manager, you’ll make independent decisions and will thrive under pressure. You’ll also:
- Plan and coordinate work.
- Apply standard engineering practices and techniques.
- Adjust and correlate data.
- Recognize discrepancies and follow standard procedures.
- Build relationships with clients and prospective clients.
- Work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Oversee diverse professionals.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities.
- Give clear instructions.
- Act as a coach and mentor
- Have leadership skills that build autonomy.
Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering. If you have eight or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. You should be a licensed professional engineer. Ideally, you will also:
- Speak and write well.
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Be a team player.
