FWI is building a team to provide publications and technical writing services supporting the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Secretary of the Joint Staff at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. As Contract Deputy Manager, you will have full authority to act on all contract matters relating to daily operations and serve as the backup primary point of contact for the Government.

Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL
Responsibilities:- Serve as the contractor representative in the absence of the Contract Manager
- Maintain full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operations
- Coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on technical aspects of the contract
- Attend post-award conferences and periodic progress meetings with Government personnel as required
- Support contract deliverable tracking and quality assurance
- Assist with contractor personnel oversight and staffing requirements
- Support preparation of Monthly Status Reports (MSR)
- Maintain professional, collaborative relationships with Government personnel and associate contractors
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's and 8 years of related experience or PhD and 4 years' experience, Master's and 6 years' experience, Associates and 10 years' experience, High School and 12 years' experience
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (SI, TK, G, H) with ability to work in a SCIF
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience interfacing with military and civilian personnel
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio) and Adobe Suite (Acrobat DC-Professional, Captivate, Illustrator, Photoshop, Experience Manager)
- Knowledge of military command structures, Combatant Commands, and Joint Operational Planning
- Knowledge of DoD publications, forms, and support agreement management
- Experience preparing and coordinating official documents in a military or DoD headquarters environment
