Acoustical ceiling Installer (Newbury Park)

We are looking for a skilled, coachable, capable, and honest person to join our team long term. This position includes the ability to install T-bar ceiling, ceiling tiles, specialty wood/metal ceilings, felt, and fabric. Other skills in addition to these are welcome! Full time and/or part time.
Responsibilities:
Acoustical T-bar ceiling installation:
- Perform 2’ x 2’ and 2’ x 4’ Ceiling layouts per plans/direction.
- Installation of ceiling wires, compression posts and seismic wires on different substrates such as wood joists, concrete, sheet metal deck, etc.
- Install wall angle/shadow angle.
- Suspend, square and level different types of T-bar ceilings (i.e., bolts slot, 9/16”, 15/16”, etc.).
- Install acoustical ceiling tiles, cut perimeter tile (tegular cuts, sprinkler cut outs, can lights/ device cutouts etc.).
- Basic knowledge of the commercial code for ceilings.
- Ability to work with specialty ceilings such as wood, insulation, felt and fabric.
Qualifications: (Work references and Background check is required)
- 2 years of Experience.
- Ability to use power tools, ladders, scaffolds, hand tools, powder actuated tools, miter/table saws, circular saws, grinders, laser and leveling tools.
- High Level of integrity (i.e., reliable, punctual, responsible, diligent).
- Transportation with valid driver’s license.
- Team player.
- Coachable.
- Able to work overtime and/or on weekends.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Resourceful.
