Technical Project Coordinator
Job Summary
The Technical Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting technology initiatives by coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and assisting with internal and vendor communications. This position works closely with project managers, business partners, and third-party vendors to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled in time management, communication, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and help maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines in collaboration with project managers.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and manage follow-ups.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Process Verification & Validation (PVV), and Quality Assurance (QA) activities.
- Track KPIs and support assessment/reporting of project progress.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain organized project documentation and dashboards.
- Assist with vendor coordination and logistics, including technology-related fieldwork when required.
- Provide administrative and operational support for multiple ongoing projects.
- Support special assignments or ad hoc tasks as needed.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and fast-paced work environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with diverse roles and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn project management tools (Microsoft Project, Planner, Planview Pro PPM, JIRA).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to identify issues, assist in conflict resolution, and escalate when appropriate.
Qualifications
Education / Training
- Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Agile, ScrumMaster, SAFe, or ITIL are a plus.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or technology team support roles.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Prior exposure to technology or IT project teams preferred.
