FEDITC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work in Springfield, VA
A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award with a projected start date of January 2026.
The Senior Network Engineer supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale enterprise network environments. They provide advanced troubleshooting, manage system upgrades, ensure security and performance across network infrastructure, and lead Tier 3 support efforts. This role plays a key part in optimizing network reliability and supporting modernization initiatives across highly distributed environments.

- Configuration Management
- Network/Hardware Support
- IT Support (Tier 3 support)
- Resource Management
- Backup and Recovery Management
- Installation, Configuration, and Tuning
- Electronic Software Licensing Services including license: deployment, management, tracking, upgrading, etc.
- System Management – Firewalls, etc.
- IT Operation and Maintenance Planning
- Data Quality Management
- Transformation Services
- Continual Service Improvement
- Balanced Scorecard for Operations
- IT Infrastructure Optimization
Experience/Skills:
- 15 years’ experience providing network engineering support on programs related to network systems and infrastructure with over 5,500 field sites, 2 datacenters/colocation facilities, and 250,000 users.
- 15 years supporting DHS LAN/WAN
- 10 years supporting DHS System ATO and C&A activities
- Experience supporting DHS St. Elizabeth Campus network
- Experience supporting network modernization projects
- CCNP certification – Active
- ITILv4 certification – Active
- Active Top Secret clearance is required.
- Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
