Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking a Network Infrastructure Architect to work at Springfield, VA.
A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award with a projected start date of January 2026.
The Network Infrastructure Architect serves as the technical lead responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing large-scale enterprise network solutions. This role supports complex environments—spanning thousands of field sites, multiple datacenters, and over 175,000 users—ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of mission-critical network systems. The architect drives modernization efforts, conducts gap and feasibility analyses, integrates enterprise applications, and develops system design alternatives to enhance overall network performance. In addition, the position leads risk assessments, supports acquisitions, and ensures architecture aligns with DHS standards and best practices. With deep expertise in systems engineering and CCIE-level proficiency, the Network Infrastructure Architect plays a key role in shaping and validating enterprise network strategies for federal environments.

Qualifications
Experience/Skills:
- 15 years providing network architecture support for programs with 5,500 field sites, 2 datacenters, and 175,000 users
Education:
- Master’s Degree in IT or related field
Certifications:
- Certified Cisco Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Active
Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance is required.
- Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
