Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking Cyber Wing Operations Support to work at Lackland AFB.
A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the 67 CW/CC’s intent to “operationalize” the wing by, creating and maintain a tracking mechanism for all 67 CW cyber requirements and assist with the development, maturation, and execution of 67 CW/A3 operational tasks. All documents shall be saved IAW Government furnished format and uploaded in the appropriate electronic Government approved shared location. Additional specific tasks include the following to meet the standard of maintaining situational awareness of all operational elements and endeavors nested within the 67 CW.
- Assist Government program managers in facilitating the development, testing, fielding and sustainment of Cyberspace mission capabilities for the AF and warfighting combatant commanders.
- Analyze cyber operational program implementation and execution strategies and make recommendations regarding challenges, shortfalls, programmatic requirements, and deliver presentations on program status, as necessary.
- Attend meetings, and brief as necessary, as a liaison of the Wing Staff, relaying Wing Staff and tasks established by either the Wing Staff or 67 CW/CC. Meeting debriefs shall be delivered to the Wing Staff no later than 3 duty days after meeting with attendees.
- Maintain situational awareness, to include tracking of orders such as Operation Orders (OPORDS), Planning Orders (PLANORDS), Task Orders (TASKORDS), Fragmented Orders (FRAGOS), etc., that affect 67 CW capabilities; collaborate with weapon system program managers and SMEs, identifying operational requirements and developing course of action (COA) to best meet those requirements; and be prepared to brief wing leadership on current status.
- Assist with tracking cyber requirements for a fully integrated wing budget for development and sustainment of Cyberspace capabilities.
Clearance:
- Active Top-Secret clearance is required.
- Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
