What are the responsibilities and job description for the FedEx Delivery Driver position at FedEx?
Job description: Independent Service Provider(Contractor) for FedEx based out of the Livonia terminal. We do Home, Ground, Express and Smart Post delivery and pickup of packages within Walled lake/Commerce township/wixom/48390/48393)
We are accepting applications for full-time, part-time, and on-call Package Delivery Drivers.
Fedex /UPS / Amazon Delivery driver experience is ideal but not needed. Prefer candidates within 15 miles of Livonia
Job Starts with Dispatch which is typically between 830 and 900 am after FedEx loads the trucks in the terminal.
Average driving hours after dispatch is about 6-8 hours a day depending on skill level.
This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh up to 150 lbs (hand cart provided).
We provide you with uniform and 22ft step vans with FedEx Logo.
Any eligible candidate MUST have all of the following qualifications:
- Must be able to drive 22ft Step Van [We will Road Test you at our cost]
- Ability to pass a DOT physical per state requirements
- Able to deliver up to 150lbs - packages [hand cart provided]
