Looking for applicants in the McDonough, Georgia area.
We are an independent service provider for FedEx Ground. We have opportunities for drivers to use their OWN vehicle to deliver FedEx Ground packages. The way it works is that one of our employees will provide you with the packages in a specific area and from there you would leave to make the delivery. The pay per day and based on the amount of packages delivered. This is an employee position (W2). You will be paid by direct deposit every Friday. Each driver will be provided with a scanner and will need a smartphone to download a delivery application, which will trace your daily route and provide you with a stop-to-stop GPS.
The requirements for the program are detailed below:
- must be 21 years old -You must be able to pass a criminal record and motor vehicle check -You must have a valid driver's license -Although most of our packages weigh less than 25 pounds, the applicant must be able to lift 75 pounds and, occasionally, move 100 pounds with the help of a cart
-Gasoline is at the expense of the vehicle owner
Vehicle requirements:
-Registration and insurance in force -GVWR of the vehicle below 10k LBS. This is basically any passenger car including Mini Vans, Suv's and Pickups with a covered box that locks. -Vehicle less than 10 years old (It must be from 2014 to the present) -Rental vehicles are not allowed. -Clean appearance of the vehicle without offensive decals on the bumper, etc.
- The insurance as well as the registration of the car must be in the name of the driver of the vehicle.

* Vin number (located on the driver's door)
* 4 photos of the Vehicle are needed, from the FRONT, BACK, RIGHT SIDE, LEFT SIDE, the vehicle must be clearly seen.
