Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are an independent contractor for FedEx. You will be employed by Hutchinson Limited Inc. out of the Houlton Maine terminal. We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to our valued customers while providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to timely deliveries will help us build lasting relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements

• Must be 21 with a valid Drivers License and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and pass a drug test.
• Prior driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 149.00 pounds.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes.
• Follow optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met upon delivery.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
• Proven ability in route driving with a focus on punctuality and safety.
• Experience with heavy lifting, moving items manually.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Customer service skills that enable positive interactions with clients and team members.
• Ability to handle physical tasks involving heavy lifting and moving throughout the workday.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
