What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Sales Analyst position at FedEx Services?

Under moderate supervision, develops and assists others in developing quantitative analysis of trends, customer/sales performance, revenues, margins, and/or other analysis in support of sales/solutions strategies that create value for FedEx. Plans, analyzes, develops, coordinates, maintains, and/or executes sales plans, projects, and/or programs. Leads peer analysis in sales and/or solutions, making recommendations to upper mgmt. Works on multiple complex assignments concurrently. Leads brainstorming with manager and team on approaches or solutions. Uses advanced computer modeling, databases, tools and/or other approaches in analyses. At the direction of manager independently attends meetings that may include upper management and are cross-functional. Exhibits advanced knowledge of business etiquette/processes. May mentor less senior staff.

Other areas of support may include analytics on customer spend, customer pricing & compliance audits, as well as solutions development.

Core Competencies:

  • Assists Sales team members in the Specialty Sales Healthcare Group Purchasing organization with projects, account reviews, customer contract compliance, pricing audit and analysis.
  • Be a user of various data extraction and data manipulation tools and systems available to conduct the required analysis as per the requirements of the team/customer/segment needs.
  • Proficient in FedEx systems; i.e. ePRS, CPM, CHT, ENCORE, Webalytics, etc.
  • Leverage experience and network to produce optimal solutions and results.
  • Apply attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of results for reporting and customer hierarchy maintenance
  • Executive presence for customer and FedEx leadership meetings
  • SQL experience is preferred but not required

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering or related field.
  • Five (5) years work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations, sales or marketing analysis, and/or knowledge management.
  • Able to work on multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Demonstrates advanced skills with business software.
  • Knowledge of third and fourth generation computer languages, SAS, or RDBMS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills.

Domicile:
This position is currently located inMemphis, TN preferred, other locations will be considered.

Remote Work:
Ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $6,047.00 - $10,768.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
