What are the responsibilities and job description for the FedEx Ground Pick-Up & Delivery Driver position at FedEx Ground?
We are looking for individuals who are dependable, punctual, and responsible to deliver and pick-up packages promptly to our customers. This is a physically demanding position which requires heavy lifting and walking.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Must possess valid Social Security Card and/or active U.S. Passport.
- Must pass DOT physical/drug screening
- Must have driving experience driving step-van/truck

Responsibilities
- Deliver and pickup packages according to company standards along designated routes within specific time schedules
- Adhere to uniform and on-road safety standards
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of truck - perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver - ability to understand time constraints
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to operate commercial vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Must be capable of lifting heavy packages
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations in the previous 36 months.
