What are the responsibilities and job description for the FedEx Ground P&D Driver - Starting $900 position at FedEx Ground?
If your only experience is administrative/clerical work DO NOT APPLY. Must be 21 years of age. Full-time drivers are needed immediately for a well-established company that contracts with FedEx Ground in Arlington. Constant volume growth has resulted in a need for additional staff.
- Drivers are W2 and earn a starting weekly salary of $900 ($22 to $25 per hour) or more. Employment is currently for five days out of the week with option to work sixth day for additional compensation when available. Candidates must have availability for all seven days as scheduling will potentially require work on any day of the week including weekends. Priority scheduling is given to those with tenure. Workdays are generally seven to nine hours and run between 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Earnings are deposited weekly. Healthcare benefits currently not provided.
- One year of driving experience in the last three years is required, or three years in the last five years, or five years in the last ten years. This can be driving to do installations (Spectrum/AT&T), driving customers (Uber/Lyft), deliveries (USPS/Amazon), etc. Must have commercial driving experience to qualify. *CDL A & B not required. Must be able to lift up to roughly 60-70 pounds more frequently and 100 pounds infrequently. Equipment is provided.
- No misdemeanors in the last 3 years or felonies in the last 7 years. You will be required to pass a motor vehicle record check, drug test, physical, and road test. Screening process takes 3-5 days.
