AVP Fedex Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional AVP FedEx Driver responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to various destinations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial driving, route management, and vehicle operation in their personal vehicles. This role requires a dependable individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of transportation safety standards. The AVP FedEx Driver will play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and exceptional service.

Duties

• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation of shipments.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist in warehouse activities when not on the road, including moving freight or inventory management.

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience with knowledge of shuttle driving, heavy haul, or heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with various types of commercial vehicles such as box trucks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
