POSITION DETAILS

• Pay: $20–$23 per hour, based on experience
• Additional compensation: Overtime and performance bonuses
• Start time: 8:30 AM
• Average shift: 7–10 hours
• Routes: Chicago’s northwest suburbs
• Average daily volume: Approximately 90–200 deliveries, depending on the route
• Company-provided: Delivery vehicle, uniform, and paid training
• Saturday availability is required

What You’ll Do: As a delivery driver, you will safely deliver and pick up packages along an assigned route while providing professional, dependable service to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely deliver and pick up packages
• Load, organize, and manage packages efficiently
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Follow all company and FedEx safety procedures
• Arrive on time and complete routes professionally
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and customer service

QUALIFICATIONS - Applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the required qualification period
• Be able to pass a motor vehicle record review, criminal background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
• Be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Have strong communication and customer-service skills
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Be physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position

Qualifying driving experience may include FedEx, Amazon, UPS, Peapod, furniture delivery, taxi, pizza delivery, or similar professional driving work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 – 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.

Drivers must be able to:

• Continually lift and carry packages that typically weigh 25–35 pounds
• Lift and handle packages weighing up to 150 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Enter and exit a delivery vehicle more than 100 times per day
• Walk, climb stairs, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Remain alert and focused throughout the workday

SCHEDULE:
Part-Time

• Two to three days per week
• Tuesday through Saturday scheduling
• Start time: 8:30 AM
• Saturday availability required
• Sunday work may be required during Peak Season

Full-Time

• Four or five days per week, depending on business needs
• Start time: 8:30 AM
• Guaranteed 40-hour workweek
• Overtime opportunities available
• Saturday and/or Sunday availability required
