Position Overview
Compile, analyze and prepare financial and statistical information in support of accounting and financial analysis, including consolidated reporting and/or reporting in compliance with SEC rules and regulations.

Provide interpretation and support to users of financial statements
Support the design and enhancement of financial reporting systems
Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to enable proper accounting/reporting and support the business
Participate in special projects and initiatives and support with any ad-hoc requests from cross-functional teams Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Perform Other Duties As Required

Additional Details: This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance-related field
- Four (4) years experience in public accounting or the accounting department of a public company.
- Experience in SEC or other regulatory agency reporting or financial systems design may be required for some positions
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills required
- Effective organizational skills
