POSITION OVERVIEW:
Supports the assessment process for internal controls over financial reporting of FedEx Freight as required by
Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 (SOX 404).
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the assessment process for internal controls over financial reporting as required by Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX 404).
Perform detailed SOX compliance audits and assessments.
Analyze financial data for SOX compliance risks.
Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions.
Assist in preparing reports for management and regulators.
Support training initiatives.
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
- Four (4) years' experience in public accounting, or internal controls/accounting at a public company.
- Strong internal controls, financial reporting, and general accounting
- Strong organizational, project leadership, and communications skills.

Additional Details: This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.
