Advisor-Cash Management

This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight Location several times per week.

Position Overview

Provides advanced treasury and cash management expertise in support of enterprise liquidity, banking operations, payment strategies, and treasury technology initiatives. Serves as a subject matter expert and project lead for key treasury processes while partnering with business units, financial institutions, and technology teams to optimize cash positioning, working capital efficiency, and payment operations. Works independently on highly visible initiatives and provides guidance to treasury analysts and cross-functional stakeholders.

Essential Functions

• Lead daily cash management activities including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, funding strategies, and bank account management.
• Analyze global cash flows and recommend solutions to improve liquidity, operational efficiency, and working capital utilization.
• Coordinate with banking partners to support account structure optimization, electronic banking services, and payment initiatives.
• Support treasury technology platforms including treasury management systems, bank connectivity solutions, payment hubs, and ERP integrations.
• Lead implementation and enhancement projects involving treasury systems, payment modernization efforts, ISO 20022 migration, and process automation.
• Develop and maintain cash forecasting models and reporting packages for senior management.
• Partner with Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Legal, Corporate Finance, and Information Technology teams to ensure efficient treasury operations.
• Review and enhance treasury controls, procedures, and compliance with corporate governance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment processes including ACH, wire transfers, real-time payments, and international transactions.
• Perform research and analysis related to banking services, market developments, treasury products, and industry best practices.
• Assist with bank fee analysis, relationship management, RFP activities, and contract reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Treasury Analysts and Senior Treasury Analysts.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations regarding treasury initiatives and strategic projects.
• Lead special projects as assigned.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, related discipline or equivalent working experience
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in treasury, cash management, banking, corporate finance, or a related field required.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management practices, and banking products.
• Knowledge of payment systems including ACH, wire transfers, SWIFT, RTP, FedNow, and ISO 20022 standards.
• Experience with treasury management systems such as GTreasury, Kyriba, FIS Integrity, Quantum, or similar platforms.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead projects with limited supervision.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels.
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk management principles, and financial compliance requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis skills.
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with banking partners and internal business leaders.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) a plus.
• English required, Spanish language skills a plus
