We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager II located in our Pittsburgh, PA location.
What You’ll Do
Manage the complete lifecycle of information technology projects according to the Federated Hermes Project Management Methodology and occasionally perform business systems analysis work as needed. Projects are moderate in complexity, less than 1 year in duration, and involve multiple functional areas. Assist their reporting manager with various tasks and assignments related to the vendors, applications, technologies and processes associated with this area of responsibility.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in information technology environment; PMP Certification or demonstrated evidence toward certification.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in an information technology environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, project and program management tools and methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple small to medium projects, demonstrates strong project facilitation and presentation skills, delegates work in an effective manner
- Displays effective people management skills, ability to ‘effect’ change while focusing on continuous improvement
- Ability to adhere to project methodology
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Experience managing projects in financial services is a plus
