Seasonal Property & Tank Maintenance Assistant

Seeking a dependable Property & Tank Maintenance Assistant to help with general property upkeep, propane tank maintenance, and field service support. This position includes outdoor work, lawn and weed maintenance, tank painting and leveling, fencing repair, and assisting with propane tank installations and monitoring equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned.

• Lawn mowing and trimming around company properties and storage tank locations 
• Weed control and vegetation management, including areas under storage tanks 
• General cleanup and seasonal property maintenance 
• Fence repair and upkeep
• Assist with propane tank painting and surface preparation 
• Use wire brushes, paints, and thinners to prepare and finish tanks 
• Help level propane tanks using tank jacks and cement blocks 
• Assist with propane tank setting and placement
• Assist with propane tank monitor installations 
• Support field technicians with site preparation and equipment handling 
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment using company service pickup

Requirements: 

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions 
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials 
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn 
• Experience operating lawn care or construction equipment preferred 
• Valid driver’s license 
• Strong work ethic and reliability

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee will manually dig trenches to install LP gas lines. Employee will lift and carry cement blocks.

The actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills, and certifications.
