Federated Co-ops is hiring for a Gas or Oil Driver to work out of our Ogilvie location! This is a great position for an experienced driver or a trainee. As a Gas or Oil Driver, you are responsible for safely loading fuel to be delivered to our customers into the delivery truck and delivering into customers’ storage tanks and equipment in accordance to company, division, and location policy and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Gas or Oil Driver include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Delivery of product involves safely loading into the bulk truck and delivering into customers’ storage tanks and equipment in accordance to company, division, and location policy and procedures.
- Drives and operates trucks, vehicles, equipment and tools safely and efficiently by following all current D.O.T. regulations, company policies, manufacturer instructions, State and local laws and codes, and any other applicable laws, codes or regulations.
- Assist sales department with calls and potential sales target areas.
- Inspect and maintain bulk facility, bulk truck and equipment continuously to ensure cleanliness, safety, proper operation and positive cooperative image.
- Documents all work as required by company, division, and location policy.

Education/Experience:
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Currently posses or able to obtain a class B Commercial Driver's License .
- Currently posses or able to obtain Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements; and the ability to maintain endorsements required by the job.
- 3-5 years of bulk fuel delivery or driving experience is preferred.
- Strong customer focus.
- The ability to work overtime as business need dictates.
- The ability to operate a manual transmission.

Compensation and Benefits:
Wage range is between $22 - $25 and Federated Co-ops Inc. offers industry leading benefits including 401(k) with company match of 7%. The actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills, and certifications.
