Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modules and components. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience in healthcare technology or state government, with expertise in project governance, vendor coordination, legacy system migration, change management, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Lead MMIS implementation projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and risks.
Coordinate multiple vendors, project managers, and state teams using master schedules and project governance.
Manage project activities from planning through implementation, go-live, and certification.
Ensure deliverables meet requirements for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
Monitor project progress, manage critical paths, and resolve issues proactively.
Coordinate requirements gathering and prioritize data aggregation, analytics, and reporting.
Communicate project status and present updates to department executives and legislative stakeholders.
Support change management, training, and communication for successful system rollout.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in healthcare technology or state government projects.
Minimum 5 years of experience in change management, training coordination, and rollout communications.
Minimum 5 years of experience with legacy system and data conversion.
Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.
Proven ability to manage deadlines, project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Idaho state agencies.
Experience with state Medicaid agencies and MMIS implementations.
Experience coordinating multiple vendors and large-scale system implementations.
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
