The Program Manager (Safety Data):
- Leads the FTA Safety Data Program to advance the coordination and effectiveness of FTA’s safety data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to collect requirements and develop data products, such as forecast models, cost projection calculators, interactive dashboards, automated reports, and performance outcome visualizations.
- Leads the selection and application of appropriate methodologies for the analysis and interpretation of transit safety data to inform leadership decision-making on transit safety matters.
- Prepares research and data reports, including summary data tables, graphs, written narratives, and dynamic visualizations.
- Prepares and delivers briefings, memos, presentations, and other written materials to internal and external audiences on complex issues relating to transit safety research and analysis and provides expert opinion and recommendations to management.
