This position is located in the Division of Consumer Response and Operations (DCRO) in the Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP) at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington, D.C. You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: planning, launching, and administering large-scale projects to distribute money to a large and diverse audience; tracking expenditures of funds and ensuring thorough execution of plans to return money to consumers; working with and overseeing contractors performing essential tasks as part of a large-scale project; and working with a variety of tools to search, organize, and standardize large volumes of address data for mailings.

Responsibilities:
If you are selected for the Program Analyst (Redress) position, you will perform the following duties:- Manage redress cases, including invoicing, creating work assignments, planning distributions, tracking contractor performance, and developing redress communications.
- Oversee contract management for redress administrators including reviewing work, executing contract management, and ensuring timely payment for work.
- Analyze complex claimant and distribution lists involving up to millions of claimants using advanced data analysis tools, as appropriate.
- Design customized redress distribution plans that ensure equitable, timely, and accurate distributions.
- Analyze redress patterns and trends and tracks participation rates across programs.
- Continuously seek new ways to analyze redress data and understand distribution trends and forecasts.
- Independently prepare timely and relevant reports on redress activities and other matters, as needed including developing weekly reports and providing status updates to leadership informing them of the status of the redress program.
- Oversee all external redress communications.
- Serve as a primary FTC contact for communicating and coordinating with internal and external organizations on redress administration.
