Job Title: DBA Engineer (Onsite)
Location- Atlanta, GA
Type- Fulltime

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and security-cleared Database Engineer (DBA) to support ITAR-compliant infrastructure and data operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL/PLSQL development, ETL tools, and database administration, with a focus on performance, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain relational databases with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Manage ETL processes for data integration, transformation, and migration.
- Ensure database systems meet ITAR compliance and security standards.
- Perform data validation, integrity checks, and performance tuning.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for database architecture, processes, and compliance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to support end-to-end data workflows.
- Support audits and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in database engineering or administration.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PLSQL.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage).
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other enterprise-grade databases.
- Familiarity with ITAR regulations and secure data handling practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, or AWS Database Specialty.
- Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data governance, and data modeling.
- Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or government-regulated environments.
Work Environment:
- This is a 100% onsite role at a secure facility.
- Must be able to pass background checks and comply with ITAR access requirements.
