- Select appropriate head fixture based on gauge of material, enter nest information, adjust speed/feed components and run programs.
- Responsible for loading parts, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
- Organize workload to maximize material flow process.
- Communicate with managers, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues.
- Perform inspection, preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally.
- Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to insure quality of production.
- Act as subject matter expert and train co-workers as needed
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Minimum 1 year related work experience, required
- Formal CNC Machining education or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to use overhead crane.
