Key Responsibilities
Non-controlled environment. Exposed to typical of any manufacturing environment. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Overall Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Design and optimize production layouts, tools, and equipment.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions using lean tools Kaizen events, SMED, and DMAIC tools.
- Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. Poka yoke processes when possible.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Develop standard work for processes using work instructions, OMS (Operational Method Sheet’s) and MOP (Machine Operational Process).
- Engage with operations, discover their pain points and address.
- Focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Participate in daily GEMBA walks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with automation and robotics.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis tools.
- Project management experience.
- Green or Black Belt Certifications.
