Office Furniture Installer
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED — WE TRAIN YOU ON THE JOB!
Role Summary:
The Furniture Installer will assemble, configure, and install office furniture at secure federal facilities throughout Maryland. This role works as part of a coordinated installation crew, following floor plans and manufacturer specifications to deliver clean, functional workspaces. No prior experience in furniture installation is necessary. You will learn and receive training on the job for all of your duties. This is a hands-on position for someone who's reliable and ready to show up for consistent, steady work.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stage furniture deliveries and materials at the job site
- Assemble and install furniture and workstations according to manufacturer instructions
- Use hand and power tools, including drills, to complete installations efficiently and correctly
- Lift, move, and position furniture and equipment up to 50 pounds as needed
- Be able to take direction from your project manager and work in a collaborative team environment
Requirements:
The work for this role will be on government / secure premises. It's policy that anyone on the grounds must have and be able to show a Maryland-issued Real ID and successfully pass a background check. This is a standard background check that prohibits any felonies or serious crimes on record.

These 2 requirements are non-negotiable and both must be satisfied to be eligible for hire.
Bonus Qualifications: (helpful to have, but not required)
- Prior experience doing installation work
- Owns a cordless drill or other basic tools
- Valid driver's license
Compensation, Benefits & Location:
- Starting pay of $22/hour — no experience necessary
- Get paid every week — paychecks on Fridays
- Transportation available from Cromwell Station light rail (pick up & drop off)
