Shuttle Driver Non-DOT

Performs shuttle functions using a less than 10,000 lb gross weight vehicle; loads and unloads aircraft/vehicles; to sort packages. Performs other duties as assigned.

Shuttle freight from EWR to the MJXA station Position is Tuesday to Saturday. Tuesday to Friday 0400-1000. Saturday 430-0930

High school diploma/GED.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person. Ability to work with power and hand tools. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.  Driver's vehicle not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full/part-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.

Pay: Starting Wage is $22.25 / hour

Additional Details: Monday-Friday 4:30PM till 10:45PM
