Mgr Revenue Science and Analytics

Summary

This manager position will lead with limited guidance 5-6 professionals in managing Sales and Revenue operations supporting Digital Products. This position will work closely with Pricing internal partners, Digital Sales, Customer Ops, Customer Tech and Digital Commercial teams to design, develop, and implement solutions in the following areas, but not limited to:

Pricing & Contract Support

• Work with Sales and regional counter parts to ensure customers pricing and contracting process is streamlined, repeatable, and scaled globally.
• This includes working with cross functional partners to identify processes and tools to improve/implement.
• Ensure turnaround times on contracts are maintained per Pricing SLAs on each deal.
• Identify obstacles and partner with stakeholders to remove them, as needed.
• Enhance and streamline end to end process for each product designed by commercialization team by integrating into ePRS.
• Design approval P&Ps for each product and maintain clear documentation within EPIC.
  
  

Reporting & Analytics

• Design, Develop and Implement, Sales reporting in conjunction with Analytics team to support Sales with Sales cycle KPIs, pricing KPIs, revenue KPIs, etc.
• Ensure monthly reporting for stakeholders on pricing pipeline.
  
  

Essential Functions

• Analyzes competitive landscapes and strategic business opportunities
• Forecasts business demands, develops business plans, and supports operational planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Manages, creates, evaluates, and supports revenue forecasts, measurements, and customer programs.
  
  

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields such as engineering or operations research required.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of work experience in one of these fields or other quantitative fields in an analytical, quantitative, or technical role is required. The candidate should also have four years of experience obtained through work or education in computer-aided decision support, utilizing computer languages or packages to analyze data and generate reports, presentations, or insights in one of the above fields.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Ability to lead a team. Proficiency in SAS or SQL, UNIX, or any fourth-generation programming language is essential.
• Project management experience.
• Strong human relations, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
• Prior experience in the international, air freight, pricing, or package transportation industry is advantageous.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Digital Products and Pricing is considered plus.
• Experience working pricing process end to end is considered plus.
• Experience in designing and developing KPIs and analytics for Sales is preferred.
• Experience working in a cross functional team.
• Understand of Sales process including sales phases.
  
  

Location:

This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Plano, TX, Lakeland, FL or Pittsburgh, PA and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.

If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
