The person in this role will perform geotechnical and materials engineering analyses, review and interpret field and laboratory test data, and prepare clear, accurate technical reports and recommendations. Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida (required)
- Relevant experience in geotechnical, civil, or materials engineering, preferably with exposure to testing and inspection services.
- Strong technical proficiency in engineering analysis, report writing, and interpretation of field and laboratory data.
- Familiarity with applicable building codes, industry standards, and geotechnical engineering practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, project teams, and field personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with common engineering and office software (e.g., Excel, Word, basic CAD or geotechnical analysis tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to project sites as needed.
