Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, you will play a crucial role in fostering a humane and secure environment for inmates. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical and institution standards.
You will develop a nursing assessment for each patient, including planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. You will also monitor, evaluate, and revise the plan of care as needed. Additionally, you may assess and document the discharge planning needs of a patient.
