Salary:
GS 9: $70,477.00 - $91,618.00
GS 11: $85,270.00 - $110,846.00
Full Performance level: GS 11

Duration: Full Time/Permanent

Key Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance
- Some travel may be required
- Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Physical Demands
- The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, bending, and lifting heavy equipment.
- Substantial reaching and stretching may be necessary.
- Visual color distinction is required.

Major Duties:
- Partners with public affairs officials to document and profile news events, trainings, community events, and office events using video and photography equipment.
- Develops regular content for multiple social media platforms in line with established strategies, policies, and office initiatives.
- Serves as a content creator; pitches ideas, develops scripts, interviews staff, serves as a producer, and communicates stories in a clear and concise manner for internal and external audiences.
- Plans, designs, produces, and/or assembles graphic design products web and print.
- Contributes to the division's intranet site with emphasis on web design products web and print.

Specialized Experience (SE):
GS 9: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS 7 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
- Produced computer graphic designs and animation using computer applications and programs.
- Planned, designed, produced, and/or assembled promotional displays and advertisements.
- Established rapport with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and promote agency objectives.
- Communicated information and ideas verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
GS 11: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS 9 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
- Crated original content by utilizing photographic and video techniques for a business or organization's social media.
- Produced, communicated, and disseminated information and ideas to inform, educate, and/or entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
- Designed and produced complex graphic designs, layouts, and animation by using state of the art applications and programs.
- Established and maintained rapport with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and promote agency objectives.
- Communicated information using visual or audio storytelling techniques tailored to audiences as appropriate to document events.
Education
All degrees must be from an accredited college or university. Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
GS 9: Applicant must have a master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
GS 11: Applicant must have a Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
