Responsibilities
- Assist with food service duties, including serving guests and setting tables to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold health and safety standards across all areas
- Support bussing activities by clearing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean dining environment
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely, following proper lifting practices to prevent injury
- Contribute to food handling and food safety procedures, maintaining hygiene standards during food preparation and service
- Communicate effectively with team members through internal communication channels to coordinate tasks seamlessly
- Support catering events and kitchen operations as needed, demonstrating flexibility in various hospitality roles
Experience
- Previous food service experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with sanitation, table setting, and food handling protocols within the food industry
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and customers
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices and food safety regulations is preferred
- Background in hospitality or hotel operations will be considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service
