Music City Roofers is seeking a seasoned Multi-Family Project Manager with strong residential roofing and exterior experience. This role is designed for professionals with deep, hands-on knowledge of asphalt shingles, metal roofing, siding, and gutters who can confidently manage projects on occupied multi-family properties.
The Role
You will manage multi-family residential roofing and exterior projects from start to finish—overseeing production, schedules, quality, budgets, and client communication. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong field presence, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple exterior trades efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-family roof replacements and repairs
- Oversee installation and quality control of residential roofing systems
- Coordinate siding and gutter scopes and job sequencing
- Lead crews and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity
- Work directly with property managers, HOAs, and ownership groups
- Conduct jobsite inspections focused on flashing, ventilation, water management, and overall workmanship
- Manage material ordering, deliveries, schedules, budgets, and project documentation
- Ensure jobsite safety, permitting, code compliance, and clean project closeout
Required Experience
- 5 years of project management experience in residential or multi-family roofing
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of:
- Asphalt shingle systems
- Metal roofing systems
- Residential flashing, ventilation, and exterior detailing
- Proven experience managing siding and gutter projects
- Ability to manage crews, schedules, and job costs
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in the field and handling administrative responsibilities
