Quality Assurance Technician
Reports To: Quality Control Supervisor
Job Summary:
Responsible for daily audits and inspections to assure that all products manufactured meet Featherlite’s high quality standards, customer specifications, and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.
Responsibilities:
- Verifies and interprets print packets.
- Conducts daily inspections and audits.
- Completes all necessary paperwork for non-conforming material and processes.
- Verifies that processes and procedures are followed during the manufacturing process.
- Ensures that all materials received are acceptable for manufacturing process.
- Insures that non-conforming processes and material that are identified, corrected, and removed from the manufacturing process.
- Maintains a safe working environment and strictly follows all Featherlite, Inc. policies and procedures.
- Must cross-train in different manufacturing locations in the Cresco facility.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in the use of all measuring devices.
- Ability to understand and apply basic blueprint theories.
- Microsoft Office suite experience and basic computer knowledge
- Ability to effectively communicate either verbally or in writing to all departments.
- Capable of making immediate, sound decisions.
Potential Exposures:
- Regular exposure to manufacturing environment including noise, dust, and hot or cold temperatures.
