What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Education Advocate position at Fearless! Hudson Valley, Inc.?
The Community Education Advocate is primarily responsible for coordinating, designing, and delivering education, outreach, and training programs on topics consistent with the agencys mission and purpose. This includes supporting agency training for staff, interns & volunteers as well as community training needs and events. When necessary, they will support the provision of direct services to victims/survivors around needs arising from, but not limited to, interpersonal violence, human trafficking, teen dating violence, sexual violence, and other types of crime victimization.

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs and have experience with client management software.
Experience creating presentations, facilitating programs, and providing training for large groups.
Valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, and reliable transportation to travel between the agency's office sites and other locations throughout the service region.
Physical demands include but are not limited to long periods of sitting, standing, walking, driving, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating stairs.

Contact community groups, government agencies, businesses, and organizations to organize training, education, and awareness activities within Orange and Sullivan Counties.
Deliver training and education to underserved and marginalized populations

REPORTS TO: Prevention, Education, & Training Program Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Non-exempt
PAY RATE: Hourly Rate Range - $22.59 24.03
PRIMARY WORKSITE(s): Family Justice Center Newburgh, NY
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Youll be expected to travel, as needed, between the agency's office sites and other locations throughout the service region.
WORK HOURS: Typically, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility around evenings, weekends, and holidays. Note, primarily business hours with evening shifts require one holiday per year.
